Alan and I have worked together since 1980 and recognise that quality staff are developed over time.
Most of my time is spent in our branches, working with our sales teams, training and trying to ensure that your property is let or sold as efficiently as possible.
We're proud that most of our Branch Managers are "home grown" and raised in the "Spencers" mould.

My role is to ensure we have the correct systems in place to process the considerable volume of sales and lettings business generated by the branches.
Before joining Spencers in 2001, I lived in various locations throughout Britain and in Luxembourg, working in a variety of roles including the insurance industry and the Inland Revenue. This broad range of experience has proved invaluable in the varied role I now perform.

Since the launch of Spencers, I have spent time managing our offices at Leyton, Woodford, Ilford and Forest Gate and it's really nice to still receive calls from old clients.
As the company has grown, my role has become less "front line" and most of my time is now taken up with training, marketing and the constant improvement of our customer service.
Our intention now is to expand from the firm foundations we have established in East London and Essex with a sustained growth into high profile areas.

In September 1991, a friend mentioned that a new Estate Agency needed someone to work for them part time. I met Alan and Roger who explained they needed a secretary but could only afford me one day a week. One day quickly became five and whilst the company has since grown tremendously, Alan and Roger are still involved on a day to day basis and many of those first clients still telephone or pop in to speak to them.
